🍷 Wine Storage Tips

1. Keep Wine at the Right Temperature Wine should be stored at a consistent temperature. Ideally, a range between 10°C to 18°C (50°F to 65°F) helps maintain wine quality. Avoid exposing wine to heat, direct sunlight, or rapid temperature changes, as these can damage the wine. 2. Store Wine on Its Side If your wine has a cork, store the bottle on its side so that the cork stays moist. This prevents air from entering and oxidizing the wine. For bottles with screw caps, storing them upright is acceptable. 3. Avoid Direct Sunlight UV rays can break down wine compounds and negatively affect flavor and aroma. Always keep wine away from direct sunlight or bright lights. 4. Maintain Stable Humidity A moderate level of humidity (around 60–70%) is ideal for cork-sealed wine bottles. Too dry an environment can cause corks to shrink. đŸĨƒ Whisky Storage Tips 1. Store Whisky Upright Unlike wine, whisky should always be stored upright. Whisky bottles contain stronger alcohol content, and storing them sideways does not benefit the cork. 2. Avoid Heat and Sunlight Just like wine, whisky is sensitive to heat and sunlight. Keep bottles in a cool, dark place, away from windows or heat sources. 3. Minimize Air Exposure Once a whisky bottle is opened, the liquid can slowly oxidize. To preserve flavor, keep the bottle tightly sealed and consume within a reasonable period. 4. Avoid Frequent Temperature Changes Fluctuating temperatures can negatively affect whisky. A stable, cool environment ensures the drink retains its original character and aroma.
